At My First School, our priority is education within play. Young learners thrive in a classroom that incorporates movement and skill development within the subject study. We emphasize English in all classes and Maths or Science are a daily focus to. 

My First School Kindergarten Curriculum

From the 2023/2024 academic year, MFS has begun applying the Cambridge curriculum to the kindergarten's curriculum.   

Cambridge International is part of the world-renowned University of Cambridge. Over 10,000 schools in 160 countries offer Cambridge programs and qualifications.      

The Cambridge framework provides curricula for the key subjects of English (or English as an Additional Language), Mathematics and Science.     

We have built our year's curriculum around the foundation of this framework. The children will study these materials in an age-appropriate, fun and interactive classroom setting.    

We are proud to start our young learners off with such a solid foundation.    

My First School Kindergarten Class Skill Focus

By the end of the year, through your organized preschool days, your child will:   

• Know all letter sounds 
• Grow their vocabulary 
• Recognize numbers up to 20 
• Count numbers and quantities 1-10
• Know the days of the week & weather 
• Improve their fine motor skills significantly 
• Sing the songs and nursery rhymes
• Engage in a multitude of sensory activities to stimulate curiosity and their developing minds
• Clean up after themselves 
• Know all colours and two-dimensional shapes 
• Know the characteristics of the animal 
• Begin to engage in being helpers at home
