Project-Based Learning Transforms Education at EFI Academy
A Teaching Method Of The New Era.
In the ever-evolving landscape of education, schools are increasingly turning to innovative teaching methodologies to engage students, foster critical thinking skills, and prepare them for success in the 21st century. One such approach that has gained significant traction is Project-based Learning (PBL).
At EFI Academy, we believe in fostering a dynamic and engaging learning environment that goes beyond traditional textbooks and lectures. That's why we embrace Project-based Learning as a core teaching method of our school.
Understanding Project-based Learning (PBL)
PBL is a teaching method that helps students acquire deeper knowledge based on what they already know by participating in real-life projects.
The core idea of PBL is to pose practical problems that can attract students' interest and motivate them to actively participate. During project implementation, students need to apply new and old knowledge in context to solve problems.
Types Of Project-based Learning Method
EFI Academy's educational program encourages and adheres to PBL method because of its practicality. During the training process, teachers flexibly apply different types of this learning method.
Challenge/problem-based learning:
Encourage students to take advantage of familiar technology such as televisions, computers, phones, etc. to collect information to solve real-life problems.
Outdoor education
Start with tours of historical sites, landscapes or local cultural experiences, community service, internships, etc…
Students use the knowledge acquired during the field trip as a foundation through projects.
Activity-based learning
